Easter Fest!!!

Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to my blog. It is Easter season in most christian parts of the world. We are celebrating the resurrection of Christ. Yaay!!! you already know it’s a holiday for most, so I thought of curating my top 5 places to visit this season in Lagos-since im based in Lagos.

• Nike Art Gallery

For the Arts lovers; Nike Art Gallery is a 5 storey gallery that has an amazing amount of different Nigerian and West African Art. Paintings, sculptures, woodwork and antiques. You will feel immediately welcome with the hospitality of the staff. if you are lucky enough to meet Nike herself- she is very warm and friendly , always ready to welcome you and educate you on the amazing pieces she has. It is definately fun to roam around in all the little rooms upstairs and find something of your liking. You can also take pictures around . A definite must-go and authentic gem in Lagos. It is situated in Lekki, Lagos.

• Lekki Conservation Center- LCC

If you are a nature person, this is definately a must visit. Lekki Conservation Centre is a place where nature meets nurture. At the Conservation Centre you have the option of the boardwalk or the newly built Skywalk Canopy which is the longest in Africa and second longest in the World. For bird lovers you can see and hear birds chirping, and the occasional presence of the monkeys.The remoteness of the reserve gives a total bonding of man and nature. There is also a lovely park for even the kids to have fun and they can also enjoy the man made pond with a variety of colored fishes. For bird lovers, a lovely bird watch post is situated in the reserve as well. it is perfect for all age groups and you need no basic skill. It is situated in the Lekki area of Lagos. It is open to all, but you pay a fee to be able to explore this place.

• Lufasi Park

This is an awesome park if you want the chance to see something different. Beautifully quiet and undiscovered. It is a great place to hangout with a bunch of friends, family. the Good thing is that you can bring food in. There is a gate fee which is very affordable. You can take a book along and get lost in it, you can take along with you games or if you’re an unconventional person, it could serve as a location for a meeting/date. The 20 hectares of land contains a children’s playground-so its a great place to bring the kidsas well, a botanical garden, the Ekki Forest, the Animal Garden, a lake and a sitting area where you could relax. You will see a display of monkeys that are fun to watch. Dont forget to take bananas for the monkies, they will love you till the very end.#smiles#

• Tarkwa Bay Beach

This is for the beach lovers, Tarkwa bay beach is located some kilometers offshore away from the ever busy Lagos Island, while cruising to the island on a boat, you will be treated to amazing views of popular spots in Lagos such as  the Radisson Blu hotel and straight head on into the open ocean. Tarkwa bay Lagos is only accessible by boat and the ride will take about fifteen minutes. This beach has been in existence since the 1960’s. take along with you your cool side to enjoy all the beach offers. You will see lots of chips and fish vendors, please indulge. Take along with you a sunscreen, beach towel, a mat, ball and your bikini….

• Get Arena

This place gives me the adrenaline rush, I lost count of how many times I have been here and its all fun everytime. Get Arena is packed with arcade games -you can try bowling. There is a kids section where kids can play all sorts of games- boys will love this. It offers countless options of events for customers- be it football match days. It is the one and only state of the art go kart rack which surrounds the complex. Have you tried Go Kart ? What a rush!!!
